The SECO / WTI Academic Cooperation Project is a comprehensive six-year academic capacity building project aimed at academic training in trade regulation and building regional research capacities. It was initiated and is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

The World Trade Institute (WTI) of the University of Bern, one of the world’s leading centres of graduate study and research in trade governance, was chosen as the project’s implementing agency.

Training for the Malaysian Treasury on impact assessment of trade agreements

As part of the WTI’s SECO collaboration, WTI Senior Research Fellow Anirudh Shingal delivered a training on assessing the impact of trade agreements at the request of the Malaysian Treasury in Putrajaya on 8-10 December. The training was facilitated by Pierre Sauvé and WTI External Fellow Sufian Jusoh.
